Homelands Bed and Breakfast

Breakfast at Homelands

This is a lavish affair with an emphasis on fresh local ingredients, and home-made, organic and Fair-Trade Endorsed produce. Eggs are free range from our own chickens, or supplied by a local farm, whilst each morning fresh orange juice and locally pressed apple juice is offered as well as a choice of artisan and sour-dough breads.

Traditional, Modern or Special

Traditional English breakfast is served alongside more modern interpretations or even a daily “special” from our blackboard, such as cold smoked trout and scrambled eggs, porridge with our own honey, or Continental style cold meats. Smoked salmon, cray-fish, kippers and smoked haddock make a regular appearance.

Erik considers himself a bit of a “foody” and even makes his own sausages and dry cured bacon using free range Gloucester Old Spot pork from the local Sudeley Estate - once home to Queen Katherine Parr, the last and only surviving wife of Henry VII.

If you prefer have something lighter: The sideboard offers you a generously varied selection of local cheeses, yoghurt's, fresh fruits, cereals, muesli and granola, and vegetarian, wheat-free and special diets are available on request.
You can finish your breakfast with an excellent 'Nespresso' espresso, lungo, cappuccino or latte.
